Froch is going to be very hard to beat if he stops using weights - rock-solid chin, rock-solid punches, swift reflexes, swift combinations. Weigh-training is slowing him down dramatically, but he'd still be very hard to beat even if he carried on using weights (due to his natural confidence, chin, power). He's a puncher, but he's trying to get rounds under his belt. Nobody has put him under pressure yet, what's he going to be like then? When he's in the trenches, then you'll see him let his hands go. When he's forced to punch, you'll see his power.
Like Junior Witter, it's hard for Froch to get motivated for poor opposition and so he can be prone to bring it down to their level. If Brian Magee beats him, Froch will go on to become world champion. He probably needs a loss, IMO.
The guy looks lathargic at times, but just when you think he's mediocre the guy goes and lands three left hooks in a row so effortlessly.. and you realise that he's just pure class.
