I gave Canelo the last round and maybe you can find another close round he won, but the most rounds you can give him is 3 if you're being very very generous. The early rounds were close because both guys are counter-punchers who gives little to no openings, and even though Canelo landed a few good and glancing shots, Floyd still outlanded him in those rounds. Canelo wasn't in control in any of those rounds. I'll be generous and give Canelo three rounds, 117-111 Mayweather.

Cotto had a better argument for a 116-112 scorecard than Canelo does even thought i thought Cotto clearly won just three rounds unlike Canelo who arguably won just one round(12) that Floyd coasted through.

I agree the first half was pretty even but the biased highlights and Mayweather crowd that were close to the ring exaggerated everything Floyd did.

And people exaggerated what Canelo did, literally.. by the bogus scorecard. Like another poster stated, In any of those rounds if Mayweather wasnt doing much then Canelo was doing even less, at no moment in the fight did Canelo look to have momentum or control, Mayweather controled the pace of the whole fight. With all that said I gave Canelo about 3 rounds tops, I get everyone has an opinion but to give Canelo more than 3 rounds is clearly bias.
