Id give Canelo 3 rounds
Just rewatched Canelo vs Mayweather, I scored it 116-114 Mayweather

Canelo won 3-4 rds and wasn't as schooled as much as people try to say. I mean for Mayweather it's turned into the point where he doesn't have to really do anything now and people rave about it. The most talked about thing in that fights was Canelo hitting the ropes and "OMG Mayweather looked at the ropes".Comment

I swear black people think of floyd like he is Jesus
I really think that its floyd´s behaves like Gadaffi and constant rambling about his own greatness have brainwashed a in tire generation of african american boxing fans
Anyone unbiased that watched the fight knew it was close, yes floyd edged it but in no way or for was floyd dominating.
A fresh Canelo at his natural weigh would have edged the scoreComment

It annoys me how people make out this fight was like Pac vs Rios or somethingComment

I made a thread that somewhat regarded this fight about how you act in the ring can influence judges. Simply act like you are winning and doing what ever you want can get you a few rds.
This was the case in May-Canelo and even more so IMO in Marquez-Bradley.Comment

According to the punch stats Canelo was outlanded in 11 out of the 12 rounds with only one round even. If you use your eyes you can see that Canelo didn't do enough to clearly win a single round. Yes, some rounds were close I'll admit but there wasn't a single round which Canelo "won." Come on man be realistic. You could give Canelo three rounds at most and that is being generous. Even his corner was telling him half way through the fight that he needed to "start" winning the rounds.Last edited by Johnwoo8686; 04-25-2014, 02:30 PM.Comment
