Just rewatched Canelo vs Mayweather, I scored it 116-114 Mayweather

Mayweather didn't really do anything the first few rounds. I don't know why people act like he dominated the first part of the fight.

I agree the first half was pretty even but the biased highlights and Mayweather crowd that were close to the ring exaggerated everything Floyd did.

huh? canelo fans were cheering when he was not even landing. Seriously guys your trying to hard if you score that domination close then that means mayweather has dominate to win at this point instead of just winning

Canelo was landing body punches and sneaky left hooks it's just that the crowd didn't give that exaggerated reaction that they did when Floyd landed a lot of partially blocked punches

Wasn't the domination people make it out to be, a lot of those rounds were even and just got stole from Floyd at the last minute.

People were just expecting it to be tougher than it was for Floyd so they exaggerate how well he did. He def won the fight it just wasn't the beatdown people try to portray it as.

If Canelo had more gas he could have scored a draw... smh Canelo looks like he has more in the tank now though.

Had less to do with conditioning and much more to do with skill level. Mayweather is on another level and Canelo realized that early on.

Plus, Canelo's style won't do well against Mayweather because they are both counter punchers. Mayweather is never going to be the aggressor, he won't do it unless he has you hurt.

Canelo tried to play the cat and mouse game with the best in that game and never had a chance from the very beginning.

And you're correct, Canelo's defence was good in that fight, a lot of Floyd's punches were blocked in the early rounds and Canelo won the first two on activity alone.

People saying it was a 12-0 shutout need to STFU, interestingly Mayweather only landed 20 more power punches... it was those stiff jabs that won it for him.
