I agree...paulie always acted like anybody that beat him shouldn't lose to greater opponents...hence Hatton and cotto. Paulie thought he was really an elite fighter which he was far from it. He convinced himself that pacquiao was on peds just to make himself feel better. He picked Bradley to beat pacquiao this time and I don't see him talking about it like he usually does which is surprising since he likes to run his mouth.

Maybe if Paulie didn't spend time looking for elephant thongs than he wouldn't of gotten KTFO
I don't get why people think hes good at commentating either. He sounds like snooky and his boxing knowledge is laughableComment

Pretty much my thoughts. I think Pauli made some good scratch in his last fights, and won one, lost one, and was robbed in one. Hang 'em up, and keep commentating. As far as some Pac fans' dislike of him goes, and as much as he may overvalue guys that beat him, meh, he has pride and opinions, and isn't actually dumb... I've always enjoyed watching him (much less than Pac) and listening to him (more than Pac, but I'm Anglo so there you go).Comment

Malignaggi on his injuries:
"The aftermath of the fight was that I had a lot of damage because in the aftermath of the fight, I was vomiting and they had to take me to the hospital. I was vomiting when I went to the hospital.
"They kept me at the hospital for observation because there was a hematoma behind my left ear where they wanted not to start bleeding and the threat that it would start bleeding was there because it was a pretty bad hemotoma behind my left ear.
"So it was something that proved that he was really hitting me hard. So obviously, the aftermath of the fight showed that I really was hurt and it wasn't just having to pump myself up and fight. I was very motivated, obviously. I've never had that kind of damage done to me by a fighter.
"Cotto broke my orbital bone but neurologically, I was fine. Nobody has done that to me to that sort of level in just three-and-a-half rounds of work. That kind of damage to my body and to my brain in just three-and-a-half rounds worth of work."
Get well Paulie. Now I see why he's not commentating this weekend.Comment

Paulie took huge punishment in his last fight. Glad he's ok. He was hit while trying to hold, hit when he went to the ropes, hit to the body too while trying to clinch. He was barely able to clinch Porter. It was a case of a feather fisted guy being exposed for not being able to punch against a solid puncher who fights inside.Comment
