Comments Thread For: Paulie Malignaggi Recovering Well From Concussion

LOS ANGELES —Middleweight contender Daniel Jacobs will serve as a guest analyst for the second straight week as SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING presents three world-class prizefights on Saturday, April 26, live at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT from StubHub Center in Los Angeles.

Jacobs will step in for critically acclaimed SHOWTIME boxing analyst Paulie Malignaggi, who is recovering from a tough knockout loss to IBF Welterweight World Champion Shawn Porter last week. After the fight, Malignaggi was taken to a nearby hospital in Washington D.C. He has since been released and is recovering comfortably at his home, but is opting to err on the side of caution for this week’s event in Los Angeles.

Great guy for boxing. Can't really dislike Porter as he's as legit as they come.

Big thanks to the Magic Man for his contribution to the sport and it just shows you don't have to be a brute to succeed and be able to entertain people.

Damn Porter messed up Paulie. Maybe he's slurring his speech?

          Hope he's ok.

that's what you get for being such a hateful pacquiao hater.

you just got KTFO by his sparring partner.

dude went out of his way to talk down about pacquiao.

            Look at you now.

            How you like dem apples?

When you lose to a sparring partner like Porter it's time to retire.

Glad Paulie's ok and will be back shortly.

Porter gave him a thorough beating. Got him calling out from work.
