He was for the first fight, I'm not sure how the deal works as of now but I think he has a one off fight deal for the rematch.

I hope Groves signs on again and we get DeGale/Groves 2.

I feel like Eddie Hearns approach is like that annoying goal hanger you had in play ground football always scoring but not putting in much effort.
His model appears to be minimal effort for maximum gain.
Which is fair enough from a personal perspective I'm not sure how much he gives the sport as a whole though.

That aside he seems pretty straight forward and gives guys the chances they've dreamed of with world title shots.
I wonder if Frampton is on his radar!?

Smart guy, have to appreciate what he is doing on Sky.

He promotes boxing well to the casual boxing fans, but most of his card he lines up punching bags for the british guys to fight, a few robberies but mainly mismatches.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by working hard, if you mean that he has bought a lot of semi-established stars into his stable, then I do agree but he has the rough diamonds that every promoter needs to polish in Joshua and Campbell, his true worth has a promoter will be seen if he can build them into big TV stars.

Hearns needs to have better PPV cards, I 100% agree but the Saturday Fight Night series on Sky is packed full of talent and terrific domestic dust ups and even a few world title fights.

I'm not sure what you mean by robberies, the UK in recent years has had much less "odd" decisions compared to the US or Germany, heck Crawford got the nod in a very tight, close fight.

Some Mexican dude was robbed against Burns; Burns despite being outboxed he automatically won because he had a broken jaw.

Groves vs Froch, apart from the refereeing howler of stopping the fight early, the cards suggested Froch was ahead.

I mean he operates predominately at the top of the tree.
Maybe I'm doing him an injustice but that's my layman perspective.
It seems he can offer the top fighters better money as he doesn't have the high running costs of a large stable. So proceeds go more directly to the to fighters.
I know very little of the industry so again I stand to be corrected.

One thing he does well is making it accessible, it's obvious things but like the coach deals on the Froch vs Groves fight money making but he has a pragmatic approach out of all the promotion companies id like to work for his the most
