When did you start following boxing? Floyd didnt start his career at 147. He started it at 130 pounds.
So thats 130,135,140,147 and 154. He moved up to where his body would allow him to compete at a high level whats the problem with that?Comment

When Floyd climbs all the way to light heavy and beats everyone , he will be on the same level as PAC coz that's what PAC has done coming from his natural size and weight of flyweight to welterweightComment

That's pretty ******. Like saying, when Manny stops getting KTFO by mediocre flyweights than he'll be on the same level as fighter xxx.Comment

Damage Control .. froid "Canelo please don't fight manny i i i'll fight ypu again down the road he he he'll beat you and make you seem like another avaverage win" ....He should be hoping the fight happens Ginger is so big he might just knock out the FlyWeightComment

CANELO at 152 is a dead man walking,if he fights MANNY at 152 pound (like vs JUNIOR) he will be so tired after three rounds with MANNY jumping in and out throwing 8-9 punches at time that CANELO will became japanese like MARGARITO !!!!
OSCAR is the boss,he has to fire SCHAEFER and let Al Haymon and SMS ALOOOOOONE!!!Comment

I don't see any analysis in your statement. If a fighter fully hydrates to 148-150 on fight night, he surely can fight at 140. Many have...so I don't know where ur coming from other than just blowing off some steam.Wrong. Manny can not fight at 140 right now. Cut that myth. Hed be a useless skeleton at 140. Cut the shyt man.
Floyd AND Pacquiao over the years have both grown into being legit welters. That cant even be debated. Please deal with it Pac is a welterweight and thats fine lol.. I dont know why holding on to the myth that he can fight at 140 helps you guys sleep at night.Comment

The way I use an equal judgment call is my catch weight belief system:
If two fighters agree to a catch weight - no problem, however some will always claim one fighter is drained which may or may not be true. The Canelo I saw did not appear drained to me against Floyd, my only problem is when a fighter does something he says he would never do, such as fight a catch weight. However, if a fighter claims another fighter is too big, I think he should avoid fighting that fighter and nothing wrong with that. If another fighter says he cannot get any lower in weight, he should stand firm, if he does not, he is partially to blame if he it turns out he was drained. My belief system here allows for fairness across the board.Last edited by richardt; 04-24-2014, 12:48 PM.Comment
