Either way, he is not here to "entertain" you. We're past that. The only thing that matters now is racking up title defenses and legacy. All that matters is the 62nd win, 17th overall Title defense and gunning for the WBC at some point.
he's embarassing to the great sport of boxing. Big men don't have to fight on the inside, but they don't have to clinch non-stop and fight like a scared pansy

you didn't see big guys like his brother vitali, or rid**** bowe, clinching and pushing down on the guy's neck whenever a punch came within 2 feet of his head. waldo's way is not pure boxing

        He holds constantly.

He is a stinky fighter to watch, and it is made worse by the fact that he is far more talented than anyone else out there. Yet he elects to fight like a boring pansy which embarasses the sport.

He's bad indeed...for boxing. A super-sized heavyweight who fights like a scared sissy who is worried he will have another panic attack when a punch comes within a 2 foot vicinity of his head.
The thing about that is the fact that he's now on a ten year unbeaten streak. 8 of those years have been title fights. His methods keep him winning and it's hard to argue with that.

As for ba dass, yeah, he's the baddest hugger in the biz. And if he didn't hug or stick that telephone pole arm straight out there in his opponent's face.... what's he got? He's got limited all the sudden that's what he's got. I always wish him well, but damn I'd like to see him in a fire fight for once.
He's abused guys his size and bigger than him on a regular basis. (Thompson, Wach, Peter, Rahman, Austin, McCline)

It's the skill gap, just admit it. He doesn't have the 3rd most title fight wins and a gold medal for his size advantage alone.

Simple if you don't like him at the top then beat him.

I'm tired of people complaining about he clinch, he boring, all that don't matter. It's his opponents faults for not finding out a way to get around it.

There's enough video on the new Wladimir and his bouts sine he was champion. The problem is these heavyweights are lazy and not playing chess.. You can't go against a chess player playing by checker rules.

He holds way too much. 50 years ago he would have points taken off and been DQed. Now I respect WKs skill and professionalism but this tactic of keeping his head high; never going to the body; never pressing an attack only works against lesser fighters. And clinching to prevent a body attack is not acceptable (especially against lesser fighters when you're not even hurt).

I would like to see him fight a smart, no clinch fight. Out jabbing, out moving his opponents (which he can do) and **** when the opportunity comes (which he did early in his career).

If Wlad stopped fighting so boring, I would stop calling him boring. Until then, the ****ing guy is boring and awful to watch. It's borderline illegal, and in some cases crosses the line into cheating.

instead of blaming the guy who is cheating you are blaming the people being cheated. brilliant!

and we know why. its because he developed the "anytime someone is about to throw a punch hold them strategy" developed by steward. we know how vulnerable he was before he developed this new cheating strategy. he was hitting the canvas in almost every fight and was ko'd 3 times when he stepped up to world level. this strategy is the only way he could be relevant in boxing. he just couldn't cut it trying to box.
