One punch isn't domination. Morales gave Danny hell in the first match, which is why there was a second. Khan tagged him repeatedly and was dominating Danny up until one punch. LOL.
Yeah, that's definitely scraping by. When you don't win your fights convincingly enough to where you can say you won every round, no trouble, then he can say he's elite. But he has too much trouble with lesser opposition. How do you even debate that? My god.
So knocking another fighter out isn't winning convincingly? I have heard it all today.
He knocked out Khan and Morales and knocked Judah down. But he barely sc****s by. LOL
Matter of fact, every fighter he has fought lately has lost with enough merit to warrant rematches.
Hell, Garcia almost took a rematch with Judah over Matthysse. It was like pulling teeth for him to sign the contract against Lucas.
And even in a lot of eyes, Khan should get a rematch. I mean, Rahman didn't stomp around the division acting like he was the man after he KO'd Lewis in the 5th as an underdog. But hell, Garcia sure did... Lmao

You're missing the point. That's actually not even the issue here, so that's irrelevant. What is, is Danny still had fair amounts of trouble, and even lost plenty of rounds against Morales in the first fight.

Honestly, I think Lucas blew his best chance to beat Garcia. Danny fought a great fight (dirty tactics and all) in their first encounter. I suspect he'll improve upon it in a rematch. Matthysse is good, but he's not the beast some people make him out to be. Garcia, who's not a great fighter himself, managed to neutralize him. I don't see Lucas's power carrying 100% into 147. Without it, Matthysse looks increasingly ordinary. With that said, Danny loses to the top guys at welterweight.

What's the blueprint? Hope his orbital bone fractures and that his eye swells shut?
NO! NO!!
The game plan is as follow -
Gameplan A
Throw the left hand... ALOT!!
If no knock-out comes please refer to Gameplan B
Gameplan B
Clinch, alot of clinching...
Just pretend your B-hop some call it cheating you call it 'masterful' or ummm whats the other word oh yes 'veteran moves'.
If still no avail from the clinching please follow to Gameplan C.
Gameplan C
Hit them low, because if they're not going to bow to your left hand you need to give them everything to the nuts.
Thus completing the gameplan to beating Lucas Matthysse, thank you.
Floyd, Manny, Bradley, JMM, Maidana. Porter and Thurman might be too much for Garcia as well. When you come up as a champ in a lower division, you don't seek to be a contender in your new division, you seek to be champ. I don't see Danny making much of a spash at 147.
