I wouldn't be against a rematch. The first fight was close, and then you consider the iffy knock-down, the low-blows and the fact Lucas's eye must of effected his performance.

Non of that is Garcia's fault of course, and he fought well..i'd like to see a rematch though. I'd take Lucas to win.

Indeed. Eye shut, ballpunching and constant clinching, even then Matthysse gave him everything he could handle and had Danny spitting his mouth piece to buy some time. Without the swallen eye, even with the illegal crap I'd have Matthysse winning in a rematch. Hope GBP makes it happen so we can have a real champ at 140. Garcia's last fight showed how disgraceful he is.

The chances of Danny thumbing Matthysse again and ballooning that eye up are slim to none.

i don't know. matthysse completely dominates the 6th and comes out on fire in the 7th and that's when he pokes him in the eye. i wouldn't be surprised if it was done on purpose or just a great coincidence in his favor. if mattyhsse starts winning again he's liable to try it again or just go to town on his nuts again.
