Floyd is right. He will be missed once he retires. Not because he took on all challengers but because he fought at such a high skill level for over 20 years.
lol, some kids here obviously were not on boxingscene when he retired (or were not watching boxing at all at that time). When he was retired he was still the most talked fighter on this site.
He was talked about how he faked his retirement to duck shot past prime Oscar rematch who almost beat him and so did prime younger Cotto and prime Margarito.
Its simple look at how many ppl watch floys ppv compared to andrea wards........yep ur right ward dont even fight on ppv an hes the number 2 ranked in the world unbeatin schooling champs at differant weights......look at b-hop.....guys damn near 50 settin records an beatin champs half his age an yep u called it again he dont draw ppv!!!!!!!!
Pacman the 2nd biggest ppv draw under floyd an his last 2 fights combined didnt do more then floys last fight by itself floyd is boxing period an yes hate allllll u want but take ur top 3 favorite fighters an combine them those 3 can leave right now an will be talked about for a month floyd leaves an there talkin bout him like hes still #1 pound for pond five yrs later!!!!!
I think Floyd like many will be tempted back again and again for the usual money and fame. Yes he's right boxing is self preservation but as champion and especially being the worlds no. 1 fighter it is your duty to fight the top contenders and with the vast amounts of money involved this should never be in question. If self preservation is of the complete upmost then retire and do your legacy justice!
poocyturds always talk about floyd..even when he was absent from the sport matter of fact they talk more about him when he was away from the sport then about poocquiao while he was active..but hey poocy got nearly killed against a Mexican without skills...poocquiaoaoaoa is a bum fighter lol....FLOYD ATG
