Guy who are internet darlings are pretty unknown by the general public but are overrated by hipster fanboys on the internet who think they know more.

Gregorz Proska is actually the perfect example. There was a guy in the lower weights whose name escapes me now but was undefeated for a while and recently got badly KO'd....? Lot of people had him in their top 10 P4P on here.

I was probably the only one who hyped Proksa up. David price was the next HW champ, and was hyped up way more by the interwebz than Proksa and was stopped by a soft punching 42 year old thompson, twice.

You said "internet darlings", but now you're talking about unknown fighters being hyped up by internet fanboys?

That's what I meant by internet darlings.

A guy who is overrated solely on the internet and only internet fanboys hype him up because they think they've got some kind of inside information.

I think there were genuinely a lot of idiots in the general public who rated David Price. He was a pretty popular, mainstream fighter who won an Olympic medal like Khan.

Only on an online forum would you find some dumbass hipster fanboy saying Gregorz Proska was the best middleweight in the world.

                  How low is low?

Not a lot of guys down there who people would even consider in their top P4P list from down there other than Mares and Roman Gonzalez.

I have a feeling he retired after the loss and the hipsters said he was past his prime. The guy he lost to had a pretty awful record if I remember correctly. I'll probably look like a n00b for not knowing this but I just can't remember his name.

So 3 guys saying Proksa is a great fighter makes Proksa an internet darling, meanwhile mass praising of David Price (on the interwebz) doesnt make him an internet darling. Gotcha.
