    ****** fcuk? lol

The story? This is Mikey's story. Like I said before, I don't believe anything Mikey or Gamboa says, because they both have their own versions of what happened. I'm more interested in reporters/writers' stories because they are impartial third-parties and they know what's going on behind the scenes.

You really thought Gamboa was getting $1.5 million? And you called me ******?

Look JSFD's alt...if Garcia did ask for 2 mil, it was because Gamboa was getting 1.5.

All you have to do is see the money HBO put up for the fight, and ask yourself if mathematically Mikey asked for 2 mil.
Mikey said that. Nobody else said he was making 1.5 million.

Serious question: do you really think HBO offered 1.5 milli to Gamboa and less money to Mikey? Does it make sense to you?

Our very own BIGPOPPAPUMP confirmed it.

Michel was pretty clear a deal would have been done if a fight with Kovalev if they received a license fee like Ward-Rodriguez. It's an embarrassment that Stevenson-Kovalv was offered 2 million and Gamboa was set to make 1.5 for Garcia. And that fight fell apart because Garcia did not receive his requested 1.7. Rios, coming off a loss, got 4 million, nearly double of the entire Stevenson-Kovalve fee, for Pacquiao.

Dirty Arum using Gamboa and lying to Mikey like there was no tomorrow trying to get a contract extension out the kid offering him this imaginary more money that he was due probably anyway to be even with Gamboa when Gamboa was never offered the amounts he talking about, and when Gamboa blew up Bob's spot by saying he would fight for any split doesn't matter how much less he would have to accept then Bob imploded the fight, so his lies wouldn't be so evident. Sneaky move Bob but sucks when lies come out.

The ******est thing to believe is that they where offering Gamboa a bigger purse than Mikey right off the bat thats just insane Gamboa was even thinking the purse was 1.5mil total and saying he would do it for 500k like an idiot.

Sounds like many people where being told different thing.

sorry Mikey but you are boring as fugg..boxing is business and the fans pay the bill..Gamboa, with all flaws, is a lot more exciting fighter, power puncher, quick feet and all, he deserve more cause he's trying to make his fights fan friendly (with some exceptions) while Mikey is flat footed , trying to pick his opponent apart over 12 rds. The Burgos fight put me literally to sleep.
$1M is a lot of money and Mikey's biggest purse so far. Why didnt he refuse to fight Burgos for $750k but instead refuses to fight Gamboa for $1M ? He is not very confident over his own abilities then. He should not look at how much the other guy is doing and be jealous. Every fighter's worth is different.
I can tell this much and I got a feeling that many fight fans agree, i feel a lot more excited for an upcoming Gamboa fight than a Mikey fight. Gamboa brings excitement while Mikey does not.

If you're as good as you think you are and you're making the most money you've every made and you turn it down that's a dumb move after you have already gotten more money to fight Gamboa when you demanded more money.

Mickey leaves Arum without a fan base, than he better hope you can get GBP to sign him and if he does sign with GBP, he better think he is the real deal because GBP ain't going to feed him low grade competition to build him up. You go to gbp, you better believe in your skills, cause you going to fight some real fighters, its the Delahoya way.

Arum has done a great job in building Mickey, he's made some good money. Whoever is his manager and told him to sign the contract with those details that state "if he still hold title...Top Rank owns him" is a slouch of a manager. And Mickey should have read the contract himself.

I still don't see Mickey leaving Top Rank, his bro made a name for himself thanks to Top Rank fighters, too much history. Big bro going to talk some sense into Mickey unless Robert now thinks he can get fighters without the help from Top Rank.

Good to see Mickey make it, sad to see him crying over the contract cause the other guy gets more candy after he already is being given his own bag full of candy that he asked for.

What happen to Oxnard? Only Vargas really rep Oxnard. You don't got to be bad to say you from Oxnard.

The ongoing HBO vs. Showtime battle royale will change the big promoters game.

Then get caught up with boxing new, j/k. Delahoya and Arum just cliked up, and Delahoya said 'eff' anyone that doesn't like that, and Delahoya exteneded shaferes contract.
