Why would anyone believe what Mikey OR Gamboa say?

Steve Kim and Fat Dan exposed Mikey big time. He's been lying all along. Gamboa was getting way less money (according to Steve Kim), while Mikey was asking for $1.5-2 million.

Mikey priced himself out. Period.

It does make more sense that Gamboa was potentially get much less of a purse.

What lie did he get caught up in exactly? He felt he was underpaid since gamboa was going to receive 50% more and that didnt make sense. So he wanted more money, with a 50-50 split. They said only if he signs a new contract.

Yes mikey said it was unfair that gamboa was going to make so much more than him and wanted at least as much, its not a little more, which was reported at about 1.7

If you turn down a fight because you are unhappy with the split, dont blame your opponent and make it sound like he is the one pricing himself out.

That is what he does though. He asks for big money and sits hoping for it, then fights once a year because he needs to bring some money in. Didn't he sit out of Rios because of money? Dude could've won that fight too
