At what point in Floyds career did you realize he was the TBE?

Hatton proved NOTHING at 147.
One was a cherry pick and one was a rivalry ..... apples and oranges or should I say cherries!

Marquez had NEVER fought at the welterweight limit when knocked out Pacquiao. Just because JMM gave Manny a tough fight at the lower weights does not mean he could beat Manny at the higher weights. Manny was considered as high as 9-1 favorite over Marquez before he got iced.
You're giving Manny a pass when he had more advantages over Marquez than Floyd did over Hatton.

Hatton had fought his last fight at 140, and his only prior venture to 147 was a robbery over perennial journeyman Collazo.
And it was a cherrypick because Mayweather fought a short guy moving up 7 pounds in weight instead of the other champs/top contenders in his division: prime Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Forrest, etc. who were knocking on his door.Last edited by BafanaBafana; 04-26-2014, 01:33 AM.

Again Hatton had accustomed himself to 147 while Marquez NEVER had, and catchweights don't count.

Marquez and Pacquiao fought at the same catchweight that Marquez fought Mayweather at (144) and both guys weighed less than that. Again do you research.

Welterweight=147-140
Yeah, they were supposed to fight at a 144 catchweight but Floyd failed to make weight, so what, the fight was at welterweight. The same principle applies to your other ******ed statements.
Hatton lost (bad judging aside) to Collazo in his only welterweight fight at the time, then went on to fight twice at 140 so he never accustomed himself to the welterweight division. There's no need to make up 'facts' to suit your agenda son.
You could make a much better case about Marquez getting accustomed to 147 going into the Pacquiao fight given he already had 2 welterweight fights and a JWW fight.Last edited by BafanaBafana; 04-26-2014, 01:48 AM.
