ACcording to some he's either #1, #2 or #3, yet floyd wont get credit if he wins. You already know the mentality.

Yeah, you're in here with like 80 posts talking about Floyd is your Messiah. Please spare me the, "this isn't a war!" BS.

If it was ANYONE but you, I'd be cool with that.

So Roach's words is the gospel now that we have to believe? I thought some of you guys said don't believe him coz he don't know what he's talking about. Floyd decides who he wants to fight. If you think PAC is easy work, why so many demands? PAC never bad mouthed him, why not show the world who the best fighter is? Heck I love PAC's heart and his all action fights, but I think he will lose to Floyd. I just want to see how these two to fight and see how each one do against the other, is that too much too ask from boxing fan?

So do most of us. But here on NSB that has become secondary to winning some imaginary war-see Bungalows ******ed ammo comments.

Look dude, both guys are at fault. so are the promoters. so are the networks. all of them have made tons of money without giving us the fight. Can't you see that?

Its cool if you like Manny. I'm a huge floyd fan. By playing us against each other they stay winning and we stay losing.

Manny is the only guy, along with Arum probably even more so, who ****ed things up in 2010 and never even agreed to do any type of testing until 2012. At that point, Floyd changing his stance on the 50-50 split wasn't a good move by him. It hindered the fight from happening. But at the same time, even had a split been agreed to, Manny and Arum were talking about not being ready to fight in May because of cuts and stadiums not being ready (the ****???). Arum even went as far to say that if Floyd isn't fighting in May anymore because of his legal situation, then they would be open to fighting Marquez on Cinco De Mayo. But then when Floyd was cleared, it became June all of a sudden again. And when examining the split, Manny probably never deserved a 50-50 split at any other point aside from early 2010 coming off 1.25M buys with Cotto. By the time Floyd did the same buys with Ortiz and out sold him with Mosley, and doing bigger gates with common opposition, Manny didn't deserve 50% probably. Still doesn't change Floyd hindered the fight from happening by changing tune on the split.

What's also funny though is Manny never agreed to take less money until AFTER signing another fight, as seen with Pac-JMM 4. Then Pac was KO'd, effectively killing the hype for the fight instantly. Now some of the hype has been reopened since Manny just beat Bradley who was #3 P4P, in pretty good fashion. But once again, we have this whole Showtime/HBO dynamic where it's nearly impossible to make the fight.

It should be noted that people claim Manny shouldn't have to cave to Floyd's demands for the fight......but when they really were 50-50 fighters in terms of drawing power and status in the sport, Floyd gave in to nearly every single demand of Manny's. Smaller ring, 1 million dollar penalties for missing weight, glove size, ring entrance, even offering a 14 day cutoff for testing initially. But now when Floyd is universally seen as the bigger draw and has all the power, Manny shouldn't give in to Floyd's demands to get the fight???

That's the most honest way to look at this.
