like weebler said, porter-paulie shouldve been the main event. i was pumped when that one got going but like most every1 here i knew shumy had nothing for bhop.

one of the most frustrating fights i ever watched, lol seriously. shumenov is just awful. not to mention a paper belt champion,, campillo beat him twice

I never thought so to be honest. Sure it was "unification" bout but (almost) everyone knew Hopkins would win, it was a set-up fight for Stevenson and it set me up to sleep.

... Well, I was surprised that you, in America, had such a boxing card during the Easter mass... But nevermind...
So now we blaming the bad numbers on Jesus?

          Hahaha.... come on man!

Everyone knew he'd beat Murat too....but that broke a million.

Paulie's last fight didn't do that well either against Judah.

Hopkins can't bring the numbers in.... can't wait for their LHW plan to fail

Who the **** is Shumenov? Meanwhile you had Porter coming off of a big win. He also fought in AC in front of Peterson fans where Alexander also fought. Then you had Malignaggi who's an East Coast fighter.

Yea, but Paulie/Zab didn't do pretty good numbers in December, think under 700k. But, they were up against Rigo/HBO

They went safer with the guy who pulled in 999k in his last fight against a complete unknown and probably hoped a fight with a guy who not only showed on their network in his last fight but also a LHW "titlist" would do better numbers.

IMO, I wouldn't put it as the main, thought it was just right in the co-main

You misunderstood... I wasn't expecting a huge boxing card on the Easter night... Nothing more... (for me it was morning -- long after the Easter mass was concluded in my country).

This the thing, you have to have a name to get real numbers.

Bhops is a name but who he was fighting was not.

Paulie is a name and porter is the up and comer.
