Why did Lampley and Foreman fall out?

They were never really a good match on the screen imo, though Foreman would say some funny stuff every once a while.

I was looking through some old videos and heard a few things that made me wonder why they didn't like each other (seemingly) and if there was a specific incident that occurred.

    Here are two examples:

    fast forward to 4:50.

Do you know what happened and why?

Lampley had every right to do the whole 'B A R R E R A' thing. It was Hamed who brought his religion into the ring with him.

        True.

But I think Foreman really liked Naz. In fact, I think he loved everything about the guy.

Lamps and to a larger extent, Merchant, did not. I think it showed a little in the Barrera fight and that kind of pissed Foreman off.

imagine if lampley said jesus doesn't like pacquiao that's why marquez knocked him out.. lmao.. there would have been outrage and lampley probably fired.. but for some reason it was ok for him to say same thing about nas and his god?

i mean all these gods are fairytales but you know what i mean.. theres a crazy double-standard there for some reason..

What the **** are you talking about, Lampley is insulting billions of ******s with that ****, how the **** does he have a right to do that. He doesn't even have a right to call out Naz' for ANYTHING, not even for him dancing and showing off, whatever. That old **** is sitting somewhere talking about boxing, he's not fighting anybody and whatever Naz' or any other fighter does has NOTHING to do with Hampley. So again, that punk has no right to mock anybody because nobody bothers even bringing him up. If Barrera wants to mock Naz' that's different. But Lampley? **** outta here.

George should have knocked him out right there. Good for him.

Nope, no double-standard. If Pacquiao read out a bible passage RIGHT before the opening bell to the fight, like how Hamed read a Quran passage before the Barrera fight, then Lampley would absolutely have the right to say something like he said about Hamed.

There aren't even "billions of ******s" on the planet.

I told you. Hamed brought religion into the ring with him. HE started it, not Lampley.

Moral of the story - keep your silly religious beliefs OUT of boxing. You don't win fights because of some dumb desert dogma you believe in.

How is that different from any other boxer or football player or athlete period talking about Jesus after every fight or game? Why doesn't Merchant or Lampley comment on that? I guess Jesus is good, Allah is not. You make no sense.

Not sure what planet you're from, I think on planet Earth the number is close to 2 billions, just googled it.

Again, like most fighters and athletes in general do when they talk about Jesus and how great he is and how he's the only thing that matters and how they live for him and so on. If Lampley did the same with Jesus I'd be cool with him mocking Naz' but that's the issue with this old ****, he's biased, he's got racist tendencies. And that's not cool. That's all.
