He really beat martirosyan you forgot to mention that and the bs fights. Canelo built up record with Lara fought solid guys

I'll take all your points when Canelo KO's your fellow countryman.

I know I'm in the minority here but I'm taking Canelo.

What's canelos advantage over lara in this fight before they get into the ring? And in my opinion the judges won't be needed in this fight

Didn't lara get a gifted draw with molina..
First, look at the weight this fight is being fought at. It wouldn't surprise me if Canelo still comes in over the limit.

Second, what has Alvarez done to become an A side and get such advantages? Although both PBF and Pac are A sides, they had to pay major dues to get there. Also, the idea of the A side, or the person who's the bigger draw getting a bigger cut doesn't bother me; my issue is with the advantages they get. I feel that boxing fans should be more outraged by such things.

Third, Lara getting a "gift" against Molina is highly debatable.

Canelo is a highly marketable kid with a massive fanbase. That's what makes him the A-side. The advantages he gets come with the territory. I'm not going to hate on it. It's the way things are nowadays, and anyone looking to make a name for themselves has to consider it just another challenge. Lara might just win this despite any small advantages Alvarez might enjoy.

It's become fashionable for certain people to claim Landy got a gift over Molina. Although I thought Molina edged out the decision, a draw was a fair outcome. Neither fighter did terribly much to win, in my opinion.

Whatever might be your preferred style, the name of the game is winning. I'm not a big fan of guys that avoid too much engagement, but to call them runners isn't always accurate. Lara is one of my least favorite Cuban pros; he's too inactive for my taste. But a runner? No. He's not a runner. He didn't get floored twice by Angulo and smash Perro's face by running. Landy didn't get that knot on his head and dominate P. Will by running. He didn't dominate and knock down Trout by running. But he has allowed fights he should've won clearly to slip his grasp because he was too inactive.
