What was your scoring criteria? Activity? Trout threw around 300 punches and never landed anything significant while Everytime Canelo landed the straight right or then uppercut Trout was feeling the punches. You probably missed the knocked down or the number of times he was hurt. The fight was only close because Canelo wasn't active enough but to say Canelo did nothing to deserve a win is laughable considering Trout couldn't even touch Canelo and was hitting air all night long.

I had Canelo winning that fight by one round, it was nothing like the 12-0 schooling (plus a knockdown) that Lara gave Trout.

Close fight, either one could've won, judges messed up huge, but almost every Boxing Expert or someone related to the Boxing Game felt ok with the winning of Canelo.

The talk is over, fight is signed and ready to go on a couple months.

Lara can talk all the trash talk he wants, Like Floyd Sr. and Jr. recently said, talking doesn't win fights.

Lara better stop opening his mouth and preparing because I'm almost sure he's gonna get the best prepared Canelo of his career.

No bias from me guys, I can see Lara outboxing Canelo all night, in fact Lara is my favorite, and if you say somethng about my avatar is because I like Canelos trading and combination skills, but to be honest I don't think Lara has fought someone with the power, the iq, the hunger and the Floyd ring experience like Canelo.

I see this as a close fight and I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo hurts Lara at some point of the fight.

The only thing I ask is be fair and give props to the guy who wins that night.
No more exuses to keep hatin.

Just like every Chavez Jr fight, every Canelo fight is surrounded by some type of controversy.

What is the controversy that he doesn't want to fight for a pointless belt?
That he's having trouble making weight so he is asking for one more lbs on the scale? 155 instead of 154? He's giving Lara a chance here. He can always say **** it, I'm moving to MW, but he's letting Lara know ahead of time he is having trouble making the weight. Lara can choose to decline the fight if he wants. He can go and fight the Ishe Smith or the boxing worlds, or better yet give Carlos Molina and Vanes Matirosyan a rematch as he wasn't convincing in any of those fight.

But if he wants Canelo he's going to have to play by Nelo's rules. Just like Cotto did with Pacquiao and Canelo himself did with Floyd.

Angulo is a pressure fighter, he comes forward non-stop for 12 rounds. Canelo isn't a pressure fighter, even if he tried to use the Angulo gameplan in this fight it wouldn't work because he hasn't got Angulo's stamina and workrate. This fight will happen at the pace Lara wants, I think Canelo will try to outbox Lara (he doesn't really have a choice) and get schooled.

                      Seriously?

There was the Hatton fight. There was the Trout fight. There was the dumbass scorecard vs Mayweather. And then there was the bull**** with Angulo and the weight. Is that enough controversy for you?

The fight vs Lara is still 2 months out and theyre already on some fishy **** too. He didn't have a problem with fighting Trout for the very same belt right? Now all of the sudden he "doesn't care" for it. GTFO.
