Name some prospects on the rise that you are following

As a lover of the sweet science I'm always on the lookout for the next great one… (I'm the same with baseball as Puig caught my attention since he was in the minors). Name a young up and coming prospect(s) you are currently following and what it is about that fighter that makes you a fan. What about that fighter makes you believe...

The one fighter that really stands out to me is welterweight prospect Eddie "Eboy" Gomez. It's been a long time since I followed a fighter from his amateur days, but this is the guy. Attributes: Versatility in fighting style and technique, power, able to adapt, shows very good poise at 21yo, good endurance, long 74' reach for only being 5'7, great temperament and game tough, explosive, Good head on his shoulders.

I know there are other young welter prospects like Errol Spence, and Erickson Lubin, Benavidez to name a few, but EG is the right package of skills, grit, and attitude to me.

    Bahodir Mamadjonov
    Adrian Estrella
    Levan Ghvamichava
    Brain Carlos Castano
    Egidijus Kavaliauskas
    Min Wook Kim
    Mark Magsayo
    Ryo Matsumoto

I've seen a little of all these guys fight, and their all worth following IMO. Although some are easier to follow than others. Especially the Asian fighters.

The kid that used to smack Shawn Porter around at Wildcard. Benavidez Jr.

He's injured / in the witness protection program I think now.

You serious? That kid is someone to keep an eye on.

Waiting for Joseph Diaz Jr. to fight on something better than a Top Rank undercard.

I will always have my main man jonathan chicas back, but for more known people, mercito gestas is the next manny pacquiao.

Yeah. I'll be sure to do that when he gets back from Mars.

Bernard Hopkins is a prospect that I enjoy watching. I foresee good things in that young man's future. He just needs another 5 to 7 years before he's ready.
