A few years ago I would have given Pac a great chance, high intensity punches in bunches, intense combinations awkward angles, blistering footwork...

Pac is still great but I think Floyd decisions him, though Pac has proven he can box and box very well, it's just very contrasting styles between them still would want to see it though it's past it's used by date by quite sometime. Sad for the fans.

Liston was to suppose to kill Ali, Ali was a 7-1 underdog going in to the fight how that turn out?

Leonard was the underdog going in to the fight with Hearns also, and he won.
It's kinda like that saying they have in the other pro sports:

"That's why they play the game."

If games were won on paper, then why go through with the game, right? The underdog shouldn't even show up. But of course, games aren't won on paper. So that's why they play them. Same goes for boxing.

Man J you think Manny is straight trash, don't ya.

Floyd bumlickers really are something else... As if a southpaw who is faster and a bigger puncher than Floyd wouldn't give him problems.

Get Floyd's **** out your mouth buddy. It's ok to think that Floyd is favored to win, but to think fighter of the decade has ZERO chance against him is ******ed. If Pac has ZERO chance, then why do you even watch any of Floyd's fights at WW? Oh wait, you actually think all those fighters that Floyd fought were better than Pacquiao LMAO!

Oh, and if you think it's such a sure shot, then why won't he make the biggest pay day in his life, as well as finally proving that he can beat Pac?

Again, get Floyd's **** out your mouth.
You sound a little upset at the facts.

First of all, most still thought it would be close.
Secondly, It was much more decisive and conclusive of a prediction amongst boxing experts that Oscar would beat Manny and look what happened.

                OP...

As a Mayweather fan I gotta admit this is a good argument.

                Damn...

                  In NSB:

Floyd has hard time against lefties = Floyd adjusts to southpaws in 5 rounds instead of the normal 3.

I have a serious question for all you Mayweather skeptics...

Be fair... Since obviously you think Pac beats Floyd... how many fights would it take for Mayweather to adjust to Manny's style? 2? 3? 4? 5?

Mayweather has some dog in him.

Is it just me who seriously think the Pacquiao of 2009 has a 50/50 chance against Floyd. And 2014 Pacquiao beats Floyd easier than he beat Bradley.

2014 Pac still has punching power far greater than Floyd. Possesses the speed equal to Floyd. But more importantly he is now employing boxing IQ to get the win. I just think 2014 Pac has seen it all to lose now. Even a fifth fight with Marquez will end in an embarrassing final fight for Marquez.

2009 Pacquiao for all his speed and power fought believing to win a fight he must overwhelm his opponent thus even average boxers like Solis, and Mosley somewhat befuddled him. Not 2014 Pac.
