Is Miguel Cotto the most fearless fighter in the past 10 years?

One thing about Cotto -- dude is definitely not scared to take a loss. He'll get in the ring with anybody.
Now that said, Larry is right to a degree. Miguel is obviously well compensated for getting in the ring, and of course the bigger the name the bigger the check.Comment

He's fighting a guy fighting above his weight class who's known for his bravery.
Whoever said Cotto fought a prime Shane...wtf!?
Shane is the most fearless. Dude was THE man and was fighting dudes that would be ducked today. What possessed him to fight Winky still baffles me til this day.Comment

It is smart for a guy like ggg who has not mixed it up with the very elite guys in the pro ranks to not fight an experienced guy like ward in his first fight in a new weight division.
And ggg would fight anybody, he is a true warrior. Abel Sanchez has the main say in who he fights.
Stop criticising ggg. It is cringeworthy. You may not like his fans but it makes you look like a hater when you spew out diatribe everytime his name is mentioned.
So, yeah, no excuse.
Anyway, Chavez Jr vs GGG should be a good fight, so I don't mind. But also, I would like people to admit what is going on there.Comment

Based on his status as the #3 boxer of the last era and how much he risked / had to lose, he's an ATG.
Morales and Shane Moseley don't qualify, because they weren't in remotely the same position. They already had losses when they faced the more dangerous guys.
Cotto fought Margarito at his absolute physical prime when he was undefeated and was just about to break through to super stardom. That's when it counts. It doesn't matter who you face if you've got nothing to lose. You could find 20 people on the street who would fight Sergio Martinez, because they wouldn't have a boxing career to think about.
Name one current fighter with a better resume than Cotto.Comment
