Why all this weight class jumping around!
      175.....Hopkins vs Stevenson
      160......GGG vs Sergio

Let people fight were they belong and stop all the "fantasy BS"! Ray.

Hopkins should just fight Stevenson and call it a career. Winning the lineal title at 49 years old against the top guy there would be pretty epic.

To people who know boxing know that Hopkins best wins were not DLH or Winky. I'll give you Pavlik.

To me it's Trinidad, Tarver, Pascal, Pavlik, Winky. #6 I would give you Johnson, and #7 I would say it's DLH.

"High profile" does not mean "Best". Pacquiao's most popular win, most high profile win was De La Hoya, it does not make it his best. His best win was the first MAB fight, followed by the second Marquez fight, the second Morales fight, then Cotto, Hatton, Bradley.

Mayweather's most high profile wins was De La Hoya and Canelo. But those are not #'s 1 and 2 in his "best " list. It's Corrales, Castillo, and Hernandez, you can follow those 3 with DLH, Marquez, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley in any order.

High profile is just a popular fight, not the fight that defines the fighter. No serious boxing fan will ever tell you DLH and Winky were B-Hop's top 2 best wins.

I think it's really fair to discuss GGG vs Sergio / Kovalev vs Hopkins

I have a strong feeling that GGG's power won't be that effective around 168

I'm sorry but GGG loses this one. Probably badly at that.

Bhop and fairly comfortably. 8-4/7-5 type of decision, because he starts slow.
Golovkin isn't outboxing or outlanding him and can't even see him hurting Hopkins.

At this stage GGG would not be out-pointed and there's no way Hopkins would knock him out.

Prime for prime at 160 would have been epic.

GGG has a style more suited for the pros, that much is obvious.

As you saw, Vitali didn't win Olympic Gold and knocked out a gold medalist in the 1st round.
