Al Haymon does NOT build stars!

Exibit A: Peter Quillin. Every youtube video has negative votes and all his hype is gone. Casual fans don't care because he doesnt even look great in showcase fights. Hardcore fans realize they are being fed bullsh-t.

What stars has Al Haymon actually built? Remember Broner was supposed to be on PPV but that was canceled due to poor fan reaction before he lost.

Seems to me all Al Haymon does is lose Showtime money. Can you honestly believe Showtime makes the money back that they pay Peter?

If the trend continues boxing is going to be in real bad shape.

This is your opinion (moronic) and you are entitled to it. By the way, Haymon is not in the business of making stars...he's in the business of making his clients money, BIG difference.

How is an advisor suppose to build a star??? He is an advisor. His job is to make fighters the most money they can make.

True, but the reason people point to Al being so big in boxing is his ability to build star fighters. Al Haymon is selling a product to networks. Why would they over pay for a product that clearly is not working?? Showtime is losing money like crazy and not getting anything in return.

Showtime's fault but people need to realize Haymon is not doing anything but fleecing the boxing fan. How many more Berto's and Quillin's can boxing take?

I never claimed he was. A powerful Advisor should be selling something of value. Haymon fighters kill ratings for the most part and bleed money from the networks. See Berto and Quillin.

Have we heard this "Showtime is losing money like crazy" mantra from anywhere but the dumbest, bottom of the barrel Pacfans? I can't recall seeing a legit article about it.

What does this thread have to with Pacquaio? See my post history not a pacfan.
