They started in the 80's along with the IBF but look how much more respectable the IBF is as one of the triad of belts that make up a universally recognized unified champion. The WBO never has been in that discussion and likely never will be. WBA has been around since the 20's and the WBC since the 60's. Given the fact that IBF and WBO belt were created in the same decade yet only one of them has reached the status of the other 2 major titles, it's safe to say that no the WBO belt does not mean anything and most of us have been calling WBO belt holders "paper champs" for many years now.
How the hell do you make a deceased fighters rank climb from 7th to 5th AFTER he passed away and than have the nerve to say that you were not aware of the fighter you are endorsing had died? How did he climb if he died?? WBO is full of crap..

There is no way that Floyd can land his usual punches. His "pull counter" would never work on a 6' foot Hopkins who himself moves around and slips punches (He is no Tall but stationary Corrales). Floyd would have to reach and reach to land punches. Hopkins himself wouldn't land much but he could control the rounds with "Ring Generalship" by at least looking like he isn't reaching and swinging for the fences (like he would if he fought 6'6 Klitschko)

No matter who you thought won that fight, Floyd doesn't have ballz big enough to make a move like that, let alone go up to Light Heavyweight for a challenge like both Leonard & Hearns both did. Floyd would rather chase down the winner of Khan-Collazo. Lol.

Does a Mayweather fight really pays that much? I mean I see people like B-Hop, Ward or GGG throw their names into the hat all the time, so it begs the question does a Mayweather really pays that much? Or is it the publicity that makes fighting him so attractive?

Leonard stood on there and knocked his azz out. Nobody said LaLonde was Michael Spinks, but he still had a title and could take you out with one punch. That's more credible than Floyd wanting to fight Amir Khan, or Devon Alexander. ****, Floyd wouldn't even fight Sergio Martinez. I don't care who Floyd fights at Lt Hvy. Get back to me when Floyd grows a sack and goes up to challenge someone credible at Middleweight or Lt Hvy.
Lalonde was not on Leonards level. He didn't fight Lalonde at 175, he fought him at 168 and got the LHW title. Him beating him was easy, even at his age. How can you give him credit for the LHW title knowing this?
Floyd, who I didn't mention in my response, started at 130, ray started at 147. WHy would you ask him to go up to 160/175. He went up 24 lbs from where his career began to 154. DOes he really need to go to MW or LHW to show balls?
Its ok not to like floyd. But its clear you are an ******* whose opinions are **** because you lack historical knowledge.
