This is looking like a great fight. Larios was unlucky in his last one and IMO only lost cos of the cuts. I think he would have won were it not for that. Closer fight than people think but I still would have to go with Pac

But here's another way of looking at it: the Philippines has come up with so many good fighters of late that the WBC thinks-- at least, officially-- that the two best Light Flyweights in the world today are Filipinos: Viloria and Rubillar, i.e., champ and #1 contender, respectively.

As for Rubillar being the underdog, he's much more experienced and I understand he has had previous world title bids, although he failed.

He is still active because I read a local newspaper here in cebu about a few months ago and he won.

I think he wasnt have much media attention because he is untested yet and don't have big fights,almost all of his opponents are filipinos.

Good to know he's still active. Checked that boxrec link you kindly provided and saw that he's had only one loss-- to a Thai, by stoppage. Also saw that he had been KD'd by a Filipino but rallied back to win; shows heart or a weak chin?

Anyhow, hope things turn out well for him and he gets some notice.
