K2 should at least respond. I'm sure Glovkn wouldn't mind a opportunity to add some hardware to his collection, and I'm not saying he will win, but I'm sure the opportunity sounds intriguing. HBO could use some good will these days, Arum and Hauser led those execs down the wrong road, they still can right the ship.

Quillin is an undercard fighter up to this point. I get what your saying. But I wouldn't be surprised if Schaefer cashed out on Quillin in favor of landing GGG. I would if I was him. I was pretty high on Quillin two to three years ago but I haven't seen the developement that I thought I would to this point. I wouldn't be surprised if Schaefer was thinking the same thing.

GGG a big part of HBO right now. They're already paying other fighters a great deal of money. Would be surprised if they lured him awa

You could be right but I think GBP smells blood. And they have enough money to back anybody they want. It's possible Haymon comes knocking on GGG's door too. You know how boxing is. Four or five years ago TR had most of the talent at 147 and that's all changed.

Abel Sanchez, the trainer of IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24KOs), doesn't believe any of the statements that are coming from WBO champion Peter Quillin (29-0, 21KOs), who wants to unify the titles with "GGG." According to Sanchez, if Quillin really wants the fight then he needs to have his manager or his promoter contact K2 Promotions, who handle Golovkin. Quillin returns on October 26th against an opponent to be determined in Atlantic City. Golovkin defends against Curtis Stevens on November 2 in New York City.

If they're serious, why aren't they sending an offer?
Quillin and his team already turned down a fight offer in 2012 and now they're calling them out when they can't?

              Oh lol

An aggrieved Quillin is also keen to stress that there are actually two stars in the packed 160 lb division which also features the likes of (160 lb king) Sergio Martinez, Darren Barker and Murray.I'm the hot middleweight right now. Gennady Golovkin really wants what I have. No matter what people say about Gennady Golovkin, he won't be able to connect with the fans the way I do. But right now, he has a dangerous fight with someone who desperately wants to be a champion, and that's Curtis Stevens of Brooklyn. I don't know why Gennady Golovkin needs his corner to talk for him, but I'm far from a sucker. There's really not no reason to be doing all this talking back and forth. This fight will eventually be made one day, and it's going to be huge. Put the money on the table, and we can make this happen.
Wasn't even a year ago..... Evidently this dangerous guy Quillin was referring to is a sucker who doesn't deserve to fight him.... if only Stevens was born smaller and Eastern European

These guys are desperate to build him up. Can't talk up a KO streak, so they talk about his knockdowns.... 10 of them coming from 2 fights

Why a Belt holder from Brooklyn is the B side? Considering that the other guy is from europe and most certainly the fight will be in USA soil I think the b side is ggg, he ain't famous...

It's funny a guy from Central Asia is filling up a NY venue as the main event and bringing in the viewers while the A-side from Brooklyn has yet to headline his own card.

Even when Quillin made those comments about how GGG wishes he was him and Quillin was a rising star... he still hasn't headlined his own card
