Shawn Porter will be the favourite, and rightfully so. He's beaten better opposition.

I do think he'll get a shock if he rushes in like he did yesterday. PM doesn't have the firepower Kell Brook has, which KO power in both hands. He's bigger physically, and probably the bigger puncher as well - but does he have the same tank as Porter? Can he dig as deep? I'm not sure.

It will be an interesting fight for sure, and I hope Kell Brook shows up in the same shape as he was in when Alexander cancelled on him, where he looked in absolutely frightening shape.

I would pick Porter at this point, probably by late stoppage. I'm not sure he can box with Kell.

Will be an awesome fight nevertheless, and will give Kell some exposure in America.

Shawn Porter. Too strong and too confident right now, plus Brook doesn't bring anything that Porter hasn't seen while sparring with Pacquiao.

Brook will be gassed out by the later rounds and Porter will score the TKO victory

Porter has beaten better opposition, so can't help, but go with him.

Kell Brook's first title shot is against this beast... and he'll lose and he'll go down as another protected fighter who lost when he finally stepped up in competition.
This isn't just a step up this is a massive leap in competition.

Porter may end up finishing him at some point.

Brook is too stiff and relies on his jab too much. Porter will be able to duck under his jab and overwhelm him on the inside.

First of all Porter exposed holes to his game, even in his domination against Maliganni I saw a lot of openings in how he attacked and at times reminded me of Hatton. Maybe it's due to the opponent in front or maybe not, I also saw holes against Alexander another fight he won easily. With all that said Brook isn't gonna expose them, he looked godawful his last fight, he kept getting tagged repeatedly and was lucky enough he wasn't in with a puncher. Best way to describe Brook is, he has good physical tools, good technique but he doesn't apply any of it intelligently. Porter will hit Brook easily and likely get Brook out of there in the mid rounds.

Being from Ingle's gym I'm sure they have noticed those holes as well, but the question is does Brook have the experience/skill/talent to capitalize on those mistakes?

Like I said in the post he doesn't, definitely not. Brook takes too long to set up his offense and Porter will just rush him when he's looking to plant his feet and set up. For Brook to stand any chance he better punch with Porter, not that shelling up that he likes to do which leaves him more vulnerable.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brook goes another route after last night or gets injured again.
