    What warrior qualities?

Talking really loud and complimenting yourself then spending an entire fight crying and looking at the ref and your corner?

I think a lot of you haven't even seen Broner fight. You've just watched his interviews and got really excited and started jumping on your bed.

you may add Danny Garcia, Lucas Matthysse. Juan Manuel Marquez and Robert Guerrero. In short, he can't even beat contenders

You weren't saying that when he went picking on a Paulie Malinaggi. Am just saying, let's be consistent. Granted Paulie isn't big a big puncher, but if you claim to be elite and you fight a weak link to get the glory, that status ultimately steer you towards adversity. That happened and he got exposed needless to say the fighter that humbled him isn't even a welterweight either. So if he ever aims to be a great fighter at 140 pounds or north, he needs to learn to fight moving his feet or we 'll see the same thing in only a matter of time. A guy like Matthyse, Provodnikov, Garcia, Peterson or even Diery Jean will have a field day with him.

That is what is wrong with most of today's generation. Talking a lot and hyping yourself easily gets misconstrued for greatness especially after practically having done nothing at the elite level. I do give a bit of props to him in the Maidana fight after even trying to take the easy way out, he summoned up courage and took his beating like a man. Warrior qualities, try Arturo Gatti, Tim Bradley, Pacquaio, Provodnikov just to name a few

Yeah the whole warrior thing with Broner....I've been perplexed why people have been saying that all the way since the decision was read that night.

So Broner didn't quit. I mean we're giving guys credit for that now? And calling them warriors? I can't get with that. That's what they're supposed to do. These dudes train to go 12. That's all he did. Hell he even tried to flop his way outta there by insanely over exaggerating that Maidana headbutt. That's a warrior?

Now Khan for example? That dude is a warrior. F**king Amir nearly got decapitated by Danny and was stumbling around drunk off his ass -- yet he was still dying to keep fighting. When the ref called it he was devastated. That's a warrior. Broner didn't do anything but show he could get his ass beat and survive to the final bell. If that equals a warrior...then boxing is filled with "warriors".

I agree. Broner gets a lot of hate because he is a Mayweather clone. He took a beating from Maidana but he didn't quit. He stepped forward the entire fight and managed to hurt Maidana late. If it was any other fighter, fans would praise him.

Broner has my respect. If he makes a few adjustments, he can compete with guys at 147.

Broner needs to just quit talking. He hasn't earned it like his big brother.
Maidana has much "natural" power and has heavier hands than Pac. Just talking to be heard or just to hate or what?

Adrian Broner was exposed by Maidana big time

You didn't watch the fight! Broner should have been knock the f*** out in three different rounds. The worst referee in boxing, Lawrence Cole, who is controlled by Golden Boy Promotions, is the one that kept Broner in the fight. He allowed Broner to hit low, push Maidana face with his forearms to keep Maidana away several times, including a long count! Broner did not fight like a champion, was more like a spoiled brat thinking he could do anything because Lawrence Cole permitted it. Lawrence Cole should retire; he has stolen a lot of wins from fighters. Take another good look at this fight, and others that Lawrence Cole is or was involved in, especially in Texas. You will see incompetence at it" best.
