What if... Top Rank and Golden Boy unite?

What if Schaefer leaves Golden Boy and teams up with Al Haymon and they bring all Haymon fighters to TMT? Would this lead to Oscar teaming up with his old pal Bob Arum thus uniting Golden Boy and Top Rank?

Who gets control of the boxing arena? Given that Oscar has a good relationship with Showtime and Arum with HBO, will these two take over the networks?

      It would never happen.

Schaefer has put too much work into GBP to ever see it go into Arum's hands.

He'd arrange for DLH to have an "overdose" before that ever happens and either dissolve GBP or integrate it with Al Haymon's business. Too much money involved.

Its basically going to be Top Rank, Oscar or Golden Boy, Main Events, Lou Dibella, Gary Shaw, Goossen and whoever other small promoter, they are going to have to team up and all work on HBO and have to keep their eyes and ears on their fighters because Haymon is sweeping them up out from under them one by one.

Fellas whether you know it or not this is already happening and media isn't reporting it yet! In fact, Schaefer and DlH have already lawyered up! They haven't made a spectacle of this yet because they are waiting on after the Mayweather fight. Remember where you heard this first! Damit305 #truth!

I thought the rumor was that Al Haymon and Schaefer were going to move all of their contracted fighters over to TMT Promotions and with the help of their pet TV executive, Stephen Espinoza, they'll get the SHowtime slots they want, leaving Golden Boy in the dust. If something like that were to happen, only then I could see ODLH working with Arum.
