    Foh.

Many people think that Hop beat Cal. Anything that Hop does is a credit to Hop, not Cal. You same clowns claim Floyd didn't ko Pac, Marquez did. Foh with that kind of reasoning, lmao.

I mean I'm just repeating myself but even though his punching was amateurish, but Calzaghe did a good job getting in and out, pushing forward hitting and not getting hit. It was ugly, but hit and don't get hit is the bottom line, and he did a good job at it against a great boxer. I really don't think feel it was a matter of hustling, it was out-boxing. He had to out-think and out-manuever Hopkins to do what he did. It wasn't just him being willing to throw more punches. He made BHop miss or keep his hands at home while he was racking up points. No one just hustles B-Hop, it's never that simple. Almost all of his opponent's work rates drop greatly when they face him. And most of these young guys can't even keep up with his footwork. Joe had good angles and good footwork. I mean understand it's not like he displayed all kinds of classic boxing skills so I understand why you'd disagree. BHop can do a lot of things better than Joe but I still think they could have fight after fight and Joe beats him more often than not.

Have to disagree again. Hopkins would have won every time they fought, more convincingly each time. He was purely the better fighter. Joe wanted no part of the rematch. No misconceptions here why.

Every one of those rounds was pretty much him going forward, landing a lot of weak punches, a few clean ones even though he had a girly delivery, avoided some punches on the occasion he wasn't already out of range before Hopkins tried to throw, he would get hit with maybe two well-thrown punches a round that weren't that great and get hit with a weak punch or two to the side of his body on a clinch. He out-maneuvered Hopkins was too athletic for him. It was ugly looking and didn't look like how high-level boxing is supposed to look but it was still high-level boxing to me.

I haven't watched that fight in years, but I genuinely believe that JC did not win more than 7 rounds.

It also adds on to the legacy of Jermaine Taylor and Chad Dawson.

Especially Jermaine Taylor since he beat a more prime Hopkins x2

Difference is, Taylor was knocked out by Pavlik, who Hopkins dominated, as well as by Froch and Abraham. Dawson was stopped by Stevenson and Ward.

Joe was never stopped and retired undefeated.

There are many who simply cannot stand Calzaghe for varying reasons.

While I disagree with Freedom about each Hopkins win adding to Joe's legacy, Joe beat Hopkins and it was a good win. Its really pathetic and sad how some people keep crying robbery.
