    DC Armory, Washington, District of Columbia - In a WBA/IBF light heavyweight unification, Bernard Hopkins (55-6-2, 32KOs) easily dominated Beibut Shumenov (14-2, 9KOs) over twelve rounds to win a split decision. The scores were 116-111 for Hopkins, a criminal, criminal score of 114-113 for Shumenov, 116-111 for Hopkins.

        Hopkins looked hard to hit. I dont know if Stevenson can catch/time him.

            I can only think that the judges counted Beibut's failed punches as points.

            Beibut needs to be slapped and get a real boxing team to help him.

                Shumenov is an interesting guy.

                1) An Attorney
                2) Brother is a mayor back home in Kazakhstan
                3) Former Olympian
                4) World Champ in 10 fights
                5) No Trainer
                6) Family is self made millionaires.
