I see what your trying to say but it they way you said it actually works against you. Props to BHop. But saying that Dawson sucks makes it sound bad for BHop because your saying BHop lost to someone who sucks.

Don't mention the Calzaghe fight, everybody knows he beat Hoplins legit so bringing that up makes you lose all credibilty.

And to add to this, it's more mental than physical at this point in the game. Also, Hopkin's style suits his age (the slow work rate and the uncanny ability to not get hit). It makes it all the more great. He's the last of a dying generation of true old school fighters. The best kind of fighters there are!

Sure, Hopkins still.boxing and training hard for oro boxing is inspirational for veteran athletes but he has always fought like Floyd. Only moving, Philly shelling, hugging after landing or receiving punch, etc. Very boring. He fought a farmer that didnt even know how to box. Anyone could have beaten him. Hopkins only fights bums and cant KO his own mom.

They still beat Hopkins. Dawson would probably still beat him. I don't see how beating bums like Murat and Shumenov makes him the best LHW in the world.

But that's what makes b hop great. He ALWAYS fought his mandatories no matter what country they were from no matter if it was a big pay day or not. In my opinion guys like Murat etc who are not well known to the public can be even more dangerous cause they fly under the radar and have proud records ( albeit notched up in Europe and other not commercially popular boxing places) and when hop got in there with the big money hype jobs such as pavlik he usually tapped that ass anyways...

Bhop beat an unskilled club fighter to unify a title. Honestly that has to be one of the most useless unification fights I have ever watched. But I still have to give props to the old man.

BS that fight was razor close, the edge was round 1 knockdown, all this debate could have been resolved if joe didn't feel the need to start sniffing ******* man, save your breath, i've watched that fight like 10 times, hopkins won, cleaner punches. period.

The only thing that was wrong with the Bhop-Calzaghe fight was that it wasn't scored a clear unanimous decision for Joe. And in my opinion a rather easy one.
