How is Porter getting so much credit for doing what he was supposed to do? This is an old version of a mediocre fighter. Comparing what Cotto, Hatton and Khan did to what Porter did is insane. That was a much younger and fresher Paulie, than what was in the ring with Porter.

Maybe we can quit talking about Paulie Mags like he's Roberto Duran or something. As soft as he hits, only 7 KO's!?? Porter was like, "I'm blowing this guy up early; he can't hurt me, he's not more athletic than me". Just a beautiful fight by Porter. It blows me away days ago they talked about how Paulie would give this guy a Boxing clinic, when Mags gets past Porter, he's in line for Mayweather. Who are these idiots that say this stuff! Mags wouldn't fight a 42 year old Shane Mosley. Mags has always been over rated, just like Rios & Alvarado have been. Porter was much more impressive with Mags than Cotto or anyone else was. I could not see Porter losing this fight. As impressive as it is, I am not sure he is a world beater yet, but he shows promise of getting there. As I said it a few times this week, Paulie for the past couple years is really only at Journeyman level or slightly above. The Cano fight proved it.

I think Porter vs Thurman would be a very good fight. The winner would deserve a fight with Floyd.
