I was suprised at first but after I thought about it, I shouldn't have been. Paulie's heart is no longer in the ring. He's got a kush announcers job and is a millionaire already. Not mention he has been around the top level for a decade with absolutely no pop that can make other fighters respect him. This has resulted in some ring wars. Paulie should hang them up proud of what he managed to do and Porter should move on to bigger things now. Garcia, Thurman or Broner vs. Porter at 147 is gold. Pick any of them and I will sign up. Porter is coming into his own right now and he wil never look better than the next couple years. GBP should take advantage of that.

I'm with you on this one, Porter deserves the September lottery ticket for Mayweather way before Khan. The only problem is that he has to fight Kell Brook within 90 days. Looks like this will have to be one for next year.

All that I have to say is that Porter is a natural jr. middle weight(who has had most of his fights in that weight class) that strategically moved down and it's looking like it's working out well for him. I was pretty surprised to see him move down in weight. It's usually the other way around. He gets a pass because he is so short. He will be the naturally bigger, heavier and stronger guy against 90% of today's welterweights. Cong**** to Mr. Porter!

I like to know what porter weighed before the fight maybe 168 I am getting sick of watching guys in the same weight class so much bigger then the other guy not that paulie who cant break an egg would have won. also kid chocolate was much bigger then boy vanilla

You can't make much more of a statement than what Porter did. That was a great win BUT lets see what he can do with bigger and stronger welters that he is sure to face. Thurman may be a nightmare for him.

Btw what the fuck was the ref doing miles away from the action? He was across the ring whilst Malignaggi was taking the last few unnecessary shots.

What a great win for Porter last night. The guy was in beast mode last night and took care of business. I would like to see Porter vs Thurman after Thurman takes care of who ever he is fighting on his next fight.

I gotta give Paulie a lot of credit. He took his beating last night and stayed for the interview after that TKO loss and gave credit to Porter after the fight.

I still think Paulie can beat some fighters at 147 and still get paid. Or he can kickback with the Showtime crew and get paid that way too.
