Pacquiao over Cotto at 145 is about as good a win as anyone else in this argument has IMO.

Clottey is a solid win, Bradley is a good win. I don't think Manny's 147 resume is as good as his wins at the lower weights, but it isn't the worst resume one could boast either.

They both fought guys at the right time. The Quartey, Trinidad, and Vargas fights happened while those guys were at the top of their game.

Floyd IMO doesn't get enough credit for fighting guys when he does. Back to Mosley, arguably Marquez before he KO'ed Manny, Floyd fights guys with momentum coming off career best wins.

Oscar! Lots of good wins from 130-154.

He beat Trinidad and he beat Mosley in the rematch too. He didn't deserve the middleweight title though, Sturm beat him.

          Best resume at welterweight?

Man it's Oscar: Chavez, Whitaker, Trinidad (should have this as a win), Quartey, Carr, Mosley (loss against a cheat?).

          Then it's Pac

Margarito probably gets in here although he has a few too many losses.

Then Floyd and Mosley are tied

          Cotto

It's not as far as people think. Pac's wins over Barrera and Marquez help him to get over Mayweather right now. But Pac doesn't have another legit win possible with Top Rank, while Floyd could get 4 more legit wins potentially. And Pac's win over Morales is good, but he did only beat him coming off a loss to Raheem.

You can't really count Pac's wins over Oscar, Mosley, Margarito....they were completely shot and/or coming off beat downs.
Is Mayweather's list supposed to be good or something? Angel Manfredy? Really? Robert Guerrero? You're not gonna include Margarito but you're gonna include those two, as well as Jesus Chavez and Carlos Baldomir LOL

I listed every solid or legit win at the time they fought them.

Pac beat Margarito coming off a TKO loss and beat down to Mosley, Mosley coming off a beat down loss to Floyd and draw with Mora.

Baldomir was a solid win with a guy coming off beating Jydah. Not great but decent or solid. Jesus Chavez was a Top 5 JLW at the time and 2 weight champ dumb ass. Guerrero another prime fighter coming off a couple wins at 147 over Top 10 fighters. Manfredy the #2 JLW at the time coming off a win over Gatti.

Not GREAT but solid wins. I even listed Solis for Pac though he wasn't Top 10 at 130 and had never fought or beaten ANYONE at the time.

And he says PAC beat them when they were washed up like Oscar and Shane were prime in like 2007-2009 lol. Those dudes were prime late 90's into 2002-2003. A shot Oscar touched Floyd up all night and got demolished by Manny. Shane almost had him out with one punch coming off 17 months off and already being shot.
To even have Baldomir,Ortiz, manfredy on there is really reaching.
                Here's Floyd's best wins.
Corrales: absolutely spectacular performance, his best win.
Castillo 2: he lost the first fight, I don't think there's even an argument. I think Ledermen scored it 117-111 for Christ sake and that's when Floyd was HBO poster boy.
Hernandez is a decent win but the guy never fought again so.....
Canelo...that's it...his wins over these bums he's been fighting coming off big wins is ridiculous. It's like giving Manny big props for beating Rios. Great fighters are supposed to make average fighters look terrible.
Won't even give him credit for Marquez when he came back at welter he could have fought Williams,Cotto,Pacquaio,Margarito but instead he goes after a guy who never fought above 135 in his career.
Floyd is a good fighter but he's vastly overrated.

Oscar was still a Top 5 fighter at 154 when Floyd fought him. He was fighting at WW against Manny, where he hadnt fought in like 8 years. More important than WHO is WHEN.

I listed every win over a guy that was legit or decent at the time. Deal with it. Pacs above Floyd but barely. Pacs got two good wins in 5 years. Floyd has 5 since 2010, soon to be 6.

why would he have fought Cotto or Marg in 09 when he came back? They were coming off losees in their last significant fights. Mosley was THE MAN to fight when he came back. Oh and he did.

Dude, Oscar arguably lost to Sturm, then BHOP...then beat who? That dude who smokes in the ring lol....he was so washed up when he fought Floyd..even more when he fought Manny.
That's what Floyd does, he makes you believe a guy is dangerous because he was in a great fight the fight before with another average fighter (Berto recently)
It's all about selling the public the threat.
