Povetkin would batters your boy David Price night and day, who's supposed to be a jabber.
If you think that Povetkin has no footwork and/or head movement you're being delusional.
yes my boy david price, the guy i always call a glass chinned bum.

Without mentioning the clinching ( that was very excessive I must admit, but not only because of Wlad), it was quite impressive to see Wladimir landing some very stiff jabs on Povetkin, a boxer that is a master at dodging jabs.

Wladimir is still very quick, hits very hard and has an excellent footwork.
Yes he has. He was quick and firing on all cylinders against Haye. I haven't watched all of his fights since that time, but those I've watched, mainly post Manny, his defense has looked leaky and he's been looking tired, uninspiring and disinterested.

The Povetkin fight was obviously a low point, but all in all, I can't see he's the same fighter that fought Haye or fought Sam Peter before that.

Maybe it's because of the level of opposition he's been fighting. I mean, greater champions than Wlad have had their hard time getting fully mean and lean for guys not even ranked in the top 15. That takes it's toll as well.

So if he was to go back and fight top, hard-hitting guys, which he hasn't really done in a long long time - then we might see a vintage Wlad come back.

He's got max 2-3 big fights left in him I'd guess. I don't mean fights like Leapai no offense to him. But like highly ranked guys. Povetkin, Pulev type fights. It's not just about how many punches you take. Every training camp grinds you down a little bit. One day probably in the next year or two he's going to feel it and realize carrying around his size and fighting elusively isn't going to work against one of these guys who want what he's got. Some people don't think Pulev/Jennings/Fury etc are anything special but I believe these guys are serious and they are hungry. They're guys with an ego who won't take a loss easy. They aren't guys who are going to feel proud to lose better than expected. They want the brass ring.

Ten more years of butthurt, false hopes and deluded cry baby Klitschko haters.at least the British and American economies will benefit from Wlad's decision to continue, the amount of scheriproct cream and laxatives prescribed in that time doesn't bare thinking about

Personally I'll just sit back and enjoy his reign.

            Long live the clinich.
