The Pacquiao win is tarnished and he can only blame that, he let other men take his glory, its the equivalent to his Cotto win. So that win does nothing for his resume.

Garcia? another tailormade slow guy with a loaded hook that is easy to avoid if you are Floyd.

Lara is a good test for Floyd as well as Bradley because they move a lot and are awkward very slick and crafty, I would love to see Floyd take on a slick elusive fighter for once someone who has a lot of head movement and hard to time.

Only way for Floyd to redeem his career is to beat Martinez at Middleweight, or better yet, Golovokin, but we all know that would never happen.

If he beat Martinez for the title, where would he rank? He'll be a six weight champion, and have won the lineal championship in 4 weight classes.

Pretty high... But it's not something that hasn't been done before.. Yes Leonard is bigger than Floyd but he beat a vastly superior Hagler (To Martinez) on top of wins over Benitez, Duran, Hearns etc. and most people don't rank Leonard in the top 15.

He would not be any higher in the eyes of the hater. Look at my sig, back in 2005 it was, if floyd beat Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, DLH he'll be one of the greatest. Now its the new guys, Garcia, Lara, etc... guys that were totally unknown 7 years ago. Even if FLoyd beat them people will say that Pac was too old, Garcia and Lara were too young, Floyd should fight Martinez. And if he beats Martinez, Martinez will be too old. And youll have a thread where people will say well if he beats that guy, that guy and that guy then maybe hell be in my top 80.

I think you'll find they do. And if they don't he's lowest 20.

So beating Martinez who would be 40 years old by the time they fight, riddled with injuries and well passed his prime would be a win ranked "pretty high"?

Yeah right would it. It would be discredited the second the fights over.
