Am I the only person who still thinks Lomo is the real deal, he just fought a veteran in Salido who came into the ring on fight night weighing the same as Pacquaio for a featherweight bout, he never went down, and had Salido hurt in the 12th round holding for dear life. If Salido makes weight, im not sure Lomo doesn't come out of that fight a Champion imo.Comment

According to the World Boxing Organization, Golden Boy Promotions beat Top Rank in today's purse bid, earning the right to promote the fight between Gary Russell and Vasyl Lomachenko for the vacant WBO featherweight championship. Golden Boy bid $1,052,500, while Top Rank bid $1,050,000. The WBO was told fight will be held on June 21 in Los Angeles.

Wow, those bids were close.
Hopefully this ends up better than Vanes-Lara. the more I think about the fight stylistically, the more i think Loma could find a way. Russell is lighting quick with his hands, but the more i think back over the fights I've seen he doesn't have the best movement. He has to stop to throw in order words. I think Loma moves better and is going to be bigger as well. It's not as bad as I initially thought, my opinion has shifted a bit. At first I thought this was another mismatch for a 3 fight proComment
