Lomachenko should have taken the traditional road to building his career instead of trying to be champion right out of the gate. I think Gary Russell will hang another loss on him.

On the plus side this shows that Top Rank and Golden Boy fighters can meet in the ring as long as purse bids are involved. They just have to be rated by the same alphabet organization and be forced to fight each other by their rankings.

Top Rank has clearly killed the sport of boxing with its horrid undercards. Mainstream fans don't order pay-per-views for this reason and prefer MMA/UFC...Golden Boy is less greedy..better pays its fighters and puts on much better undercards.

I hope Pacquiao leaves Top Rank for GBP after his next fight.

It does not work like that. It's a meeting in a room sat round a table where anyone who wants to bid takes in a sealed letter containing their bid and when you are told to open your letter and reveal your bid then that is final. You can't randomly say '' Hey i want to increase my bid to match or beat my arch rival's winning bid''. LoL. Top Rank came up short, it happens on to the next one for them.

Interesting, didn't know it worked liked that. Also I don't know anything about purse bids. So with GBP winning the bid, does GBP determine whose on the undercard?
