I'll check those two out. I don't remember ever seeing him really sit down on his punches. Hand speed was crazy. Looked impossible to time.

He'd make Andre Ward look silly, that's all you need to know. They don't call him the best super middleweight to ever lace up a pair of gloves for nothing.

Hall of Famer, great fighter. A tick below some of his contemporaries but managed to carve out a nice niche for himself.

Do you think so? 50/50 fight imo.

He would have a very, very, very tough time with Ward.

I asked this before and was told he was a fraud with only a few remarkable wins in his career. Everything else was him fighting shot fighters and cherry-picking. Remember these are not my words. This is a summary from when I asked this same question.

If he was in his prime and fighting today I think he would be the 168 pound champion of the world.

Pretty damn good, and pretty damn tough..I always thought he never got enough credit for his toughness..His footwork was really good as well, and his work-rate was 2end to none..Joey Zags was the truth, people like to take shots at him..I never had an issue with him..Very good fighter..
