    How good was Joe Calzaghe

    I never really followed the guy till he fought Jeff Lacy. I followed Jeff Lacy since his fight with Syd Vanderpool. Seems like I started hearing about Calzaghe around the time of the Lacy fight. Anyway I watched his fights with Bika, Manfredo, Kessler, Hopkins, and Jones. I know he fought Hopkins and Jones way later than he should have, but would Calzaghe have a chance against the guys in the division today?

      I believe Calzaghe would have beat everyone in the SMW and LHW division today!

          That's saying a lot. A fight with Froch would have to be at the top of my list. I would give the edge to Calzaghe because of the hand speed.

              It is, but I believe it, he was skilled and had hand speed. Froch would have been a great fight but Joe would have out witted him, and I'm English.

                      Calzaghe would have easily beaten Froch. The test would be Andre Ward.

                                      5hit yeah, I forgot about Ward ahaha, probably cause he's been so inactive. But yeah that would be a steep hill to climb.
