It's only damage control if you want it to be. When 2 egos are involved it's the way it goes, plain and simple. And for the record, I think PBF schools Pacquiao. It's funny how you haven't heard any accusations of roids from Floyd's team ever since the lawsuit got dropped.

Want the fight at it's most relevant period.

As for making it now who thinks floyd will agree to a 50% split today? Fight is much harder to make now.because.floyd will want everything on his terms and manny has a history of being greedy with purse splits
THis in particular pis5ed me off. Clottey came out of nowhere. I remember thinking back then if the Floyd fight didn't come off, It be good to see the Marquez III rematch, and suddenly Clottey was the opponent.

but to say what you say ..... you are like many of the Floyd fans AND FLOYD...... you guys discuss like you never wanted to see this in the first place!
I wanted to see the fight in 2010 when manny was at his peak. floyd did what i didn't think he would do and he offered manny 50/50.

all many had to do was agree to random ost. ever since that incident manny's stock has been in decline and I really think he was on PEDS during the morales rematches (look at how big manny was in the rematch against morales).

so know i don't really care to see it, pac has been koed and look terrible against bradley and marquez.

floyd has his own legacy fights coming up that are far more interesting then a manny fight right now.

floyd goes for wbc lineal title at 160 aganst cotto/martinez winner. that fight is much more interesting then a pac fight, who i feel right now would be beaten brutally by floyd he is too small to pose much of a challenge.

that's because he's been knocked out. floyd isn't pursuing manny any more he has bigger fish to fry.

This amount of damage control is pathetic.

Did Floyd accept Manny's cutoff date?
              Floyd's response: I don't accept

Did Floyd respond to Arum's countdown?
"I'm not interested in fighting Manny..... I'm going on a long vacation"

Did Floyd accept Manny's counter offers in 2012?

Did Floyd say recently that he is or is not interested in fighting Manny?

Using your dumb logic, Floyd ducked from the get go!

There were a lot of factors why this fight never happened. As of now Pacquiao has till the end of the year with Top Rank and then is a so called "Free Agent". It should get done in Sept of 2015.

I doubt that it's that and more the failed A samples from Floyd, but whatever. If they were both found to be juicing then both B samples would have come back negative anyway.

I still hold both guys responsible for not making the biggest fight in history.

Roach didn't say that. He blames his side for not accepting it but doesn't say it's because Manny didn't want the fight. Roach even said in the same interview that fighters want to fight ....

Floyd is fighting Maidana ..... that is no legacy fight ..... but thanks for the laugh!

So you are hoping that Floyd goes to 160? Yet he ducked Sergio Martinez at 154 .......
