Mayweather specifically said before the first negotiations that making a Pacquiao fight would be hard to make because of the relationship between him and Arum, which it has been. I'm not sure why its hard to understand. Instead, we get people claiming that Mayweather is "scared" to fight Pacquiao, even after he was knocked unconscious by a guy he demolished.

1a and 1b on what? Mayweather has always drawn more than Pacquaio on PPV. Floyd was already the bigger star - the biggest in boxing. His PPVs with Oscar and Hatton did more than Pacquaio's so why was he offering 50/50 then and willing to deal with Arum then? No it doesn't make sense.

He never offered Manny 50/50, he conceded, and agreed to it. You know why? Because he wanted to get the fight signed and done. Do you think he will concede to a 50/50 split now? You know the answer to this, now ask yourself, why he won't concede to 50/50? When you find the answer you'll understand why he no longer has to deal with Arum. I broke it down to you in the simplest form I could in my previous post. Floyd and Richard want to promote the fight themselves right now, in 2010, 2009, they wouldn't have a choice in the manner.
