Because he wants a decent payday but doesn't want to get knocked out in 30 seconds,Fury will never take a huge risk him and Hennessey have both said this in the path-it's the reason they never went after Pulev

Part of me would love to see that CLASSLESS Chisora get trashed and another part of me would love to see the arrogant Fury knocked out. Double KO would work best for my tastes.

If Chisora loses, he'll still be on the map and will still fight top names because he's a tough guy.
It probably would be better. We know who Chisora is and what he's not. Fury at least might be a hope going forward, though I personally don't think he is.

That being said, I'm rooting for Chisora all the way. Both guys are so vulnerable, this will be fun.

The mandatory shot at Klitschko is the only reason he took the fight. That is the fight he has always wanted.

Steady on, Dereck. I think Chisora will win this but it won't be quick or pretty.

In any case, I just don't understand some of this nut-hugging for Fury...he's had 1 fight v a journeyman since he was almost KOd spark out by a pillow punching cruiserweight, and just a few fights ago was fighting domestic level fighters like Rogan, and just general **** like Vinny ****ing Maddalone. Ok, he is big, he is entertaining (whichever sense you see that in), and has a decent jab and movement for a big man, but I don't understand this mythical power everybody claims he has - who has he ko'd that's a world class opponent or had a good chin? He's been dropped by journeymen like Pajkic and looks like an accident waiting to happen a lot of the time.

Now, Chisora isn't going to win any prizes for pure boxing skill, but he is battle-tested, he is proven vs a higher level of competition, and has been much more active than Fury recently, with some decent wins. In shape, motivated and with the correct gameplan, I don't see why Chisora won't beat Fury.

If someone can give me a good, logical and detailed explanation of how Fury is the next upcoming heavyweight wrecking machine, please feel free. As far as I see, he has GENERALLY fought bums, and hasn't even beaten them impressively or totally convincingly like other up and comers, ala Wilder.

I rate Fury highly, but there would be no point giving you a detailed and logical explanation of the reasons why. You don't like him and nothing I said would change your opinion.
Eg, I could point out that he is the only fighter ever to stop Steve Cunningham, but you have already dismissed Cunningham as a pillow punching cruiserweight. Presumably because he lost to Fury. See what I mean?
If Fury had fought the same opponents as Wilder, I can guarantee that Fury would also be 31 - 0 with 31 knockouts, and that you would be dismissing him as an over-protected hype-job.

That explains why he's turned down several offers from K2.

That was 2 years ago and his team knew he wasn't ready. Fury is still only 25 y.o. and 22 fights. He's improved a lot since then.

It doesn't look that way to me. He would have been Wlad's mandatory had he beaten Pulev, but he pulled out of that fight.

Not at all. I don't like nor dislike Fury. I dislike him being overrated hugely based on some non existent achievements. Only a few fighters on his resume are better than even Wilder's. And ok, he'd never been stopped...that's because he isn't a heavyweight and was fighting someone who is 6 ft 9 and far heavier. And the KO was in fact with an arguably illegal use of the elbow. I come to the conclusion he is pillow punching because he has like 12 kos from 30+ or whatever fights - you can't really dispute this fact?

Don't get me wrong - I would like new blood in the division. Maybe Fury could be a big part of it's future. But I dislike him being already rated as a wrecking machine off the back of god know's what impressive achievement(s), aside from a few solid wins v a green and fat Chisora, a non-punching turtle in Johnson and a small cruiserweight in Cunningham.

I've got nothing against the guy, I think his size and fighting style is good for viewers and the division, and I hope he can actually get some big fights to truly assess his performance and prospects. But RIGHT NOW, i am not sold on him - that's just my opinion though, we are all entitled to ours. I appreciate your response.
