LOL. I was in attendance for that fight. He did get boxed by Devon. Had the chance to meet Chino and get a picture with him before the weigh in. Cool dude, he and his team.

There is nothing different about Maidana bro..He throws more punches,is a good as it get's..Which is not gonna trouble May cause yet again the movement will stop all that throwing from Maidana..Broner won a lot of rds from Maidana,and this was after being hurt badly by him..Not to mention Broner stood right in front of Maidana ,which we all know May will not..

Broner didn't "win loads of rounds", he barely won 3 and even those were competitive rounds where Maidana won his rounds big with KD's or him stunning Broner, Broner hurt Maidana once with an after the bell shot. That was a wide win for Maidana, not close in the slightest.


Maidana is less predictable now, he sets traps, uses feints. Check the 2 kd's vs Broner, a fake body shot then a shot over the top, Broner couldn't figure him out. The kd vs Lopez was similar but he actually landed a brutal body shot first and the last punch thrown was faster than before, Garcia has improved him i have no doubts, the jab as well.

What i will say though is that the opponents have been beatable/nice styles for him, but you can see improvements, his defense is still a weak link but even that has improved with him actually slipping punches and countering now.

Maidana ain't perfect, he is beatable but has good power, underrated skills and huge heart, Floyd is on a different level talent wise but it still doesn't guarantee victory, maidana KO'ing Floyd doesn't mean he becomes a better Boxer than Floyd, it just means he beat him on that night.

115-110. Fairly clear for khan, I don't really see how you can clearly give maidana more than 4 rounds unless you REALLY want to give him all the close rounds.

I agree that rounds 3 and 12 are debatable rounds, but just felt he landed the harder, better shots, just giving him one of those and its 7-5 in rounds which is a close fight. It was entertaining though for sure, wished they re matched, maybe one day ha.

Khan was on fire for the first half of that fight, best i have seen him offensively, won him the fight really but scorecard wise rounds 8 and 9 after Maidana won rounds 6 and 7 cost Maidana the fight as he looked like he had nothing left, that is why round 10 came as a surprise ha.

I have to disagree..Broner started to get into a grove and come back on Maidana before the 2end KD..I had it 8-4 Maidana..Of course Maidana won rds big,that does not mean Broner won no rds..Not to mention most rds were close and then Maidana would land a very telling shot that would swing the rd in his favor..Anyway we are getting off track..

Lopez Broner Karass..You wanna know what all these fighters had in common??They all stood directly in front of Maidana..If you stand in front of Maidana,yes he can make things difficult..No doubt..Do you know what every fighter who beat Maidana have in common??They move and do not stand in front of him..Simple bro,movement is a solid weapon against Maidana..It also allows you to see everything from him coming..

There was a thread which ask why was Maidana not able to KO Khan if Garcia was able to..Now I understand Khan did fight Garcia a bit differently then he fought Maidana..Yet the reason is,because Khan seen everything coming..When you show Maidana movement his punches are not hard to see..Not to metnion his feet are very slow..

I'm not knocking Maidana for taking this fight..Yet there is no question bro,Mayweather Maidana is a mismatch..Alexander did outbox Maidana..
