A boxer would very likely beat an MMA fighter in boxing and an MMA fighter would very likely beat a boxer in an MMA fight...very simple. Yes, Rousey or whatever her name is would destroy Floyd within minutes in MMA.

I think there's a lot of jealousy/animosity towards boxing from mma fighters.
Although I respect the sport a lot, it's hard to get around the fact that it involves more grappling than actual striking yet is still the act of fighting between fighters. Maybe they should look up the definition of "fighter".

Also their very blatant disrespect of the sport of boxing goes against the teachings of the pioneer of mma himself; the man, the myth, Bruce Lee. Bruce not only praised boxing but used it as a staple in his art.

To make a long story short; don't mind them, they're ******. Boxing is the greatest combat sport on earth whether they like it or not.

A prime boxer has never competed in the Octagon Floyd destroys and ****s Ronda Rousey. Jon Jones is pummeled by Stevenson, Kovalev or any one decent boxer are just better athlees than these guys.

I normally like MMA and respect their sport, but what is up with these disgruntled UFC "stars" coming out of the woodwork and dissing boxing lately? Jon Jones said something similar not too long ago, Ronda Rousey thinks she can destroy Mayweather and now Jackson idiotically thinks boxing isn't real "fighting." Are they bitter they make slave wages compared to most top level boxers and their organization is on the decline?

I like the UFC and MMA as a whole, in general, but it does piss me off when their champs, like Jones or Dos Santos when he was HW champ, saying and thinking they could use their limited boxing skills to beat current champs like the Klitschkos. Funnily enough the fight after which he said that, Dos Santos got ****ed up generally by strikes from a mainly wrestling guy. And Jones got roughed up and lucky to win a decision v former Swedish amateur boxer Gustafsson. That was ****ing funny though when at a Q&A recently, Jones basically said he was bull****ting the whole time and would never step into a ring with these guys.

im a fan of mma and ufc but it would take them their entire career to make even close to what floyd or pac makes in one fight LOL!!!
