The level of competition rousey has fought in mma isnt even in the same universe as compared to a mayweather. Mayweather is an elite MALE athlete with some of the fastest hands and movement in the history of boxing. Rousey has literally been fighting female bums.

I still like boxing and kickboxing more just because MMA has some very boring/awkward stalemates on the ground an dI'd rather just see an 8 count than 2 dudes laying on each other, but there's no shame in admitting they'd kick all our asses, at least those of us who don't know how wrestle.

I used to box,I am now learning MMA. In my first sparring session the MMA guy kicked my front leg repeatedly then went for it and took me to the ground. In srtiking he would have had no chance against me but I had almost no chance to hit him as I did not initiate the attacks. Afterwards I was told about the weight on front foot of the boxer being the weakness the MMA guy will go for.
